Drink with us

A neighborhood bar in the heart of the Atlas District.

Hill Prince won the 1950 Preakness Stakes. More than that, the victorious horse marked another chapter in DC’s long attachment to the “sport of kings”. Even President Washington traveled to The National racetrack in the District for the races, to relax and, of course, enjoy a drink or two.

Hill Prince, the bar, continues that legacy. It’s built in a historic row house with an intimate front cocktail bar, an outdoor courtyard and a large back bar featuring DJ’s in a restored carriage house. Come enjoy classic cocktails, cold beers and friendly service.

We're Open

DJs Every Friday & Saturday

Hill Prince hosts DJ’s every Friday and Saturday night. Come hang and listen to some good tunes (throwbacks, golden era, feel good jams) while sipping cocktails. Music curated by our good friend Mathias Broohm.

Patio Bar

Hang at our new patio bar and enjoy the summer with our weekly crab feast

We’ve got a special line up of summer drinks – dark and stormy’s, gin and tonics and lots of beer. The Patio Bar is open every Friday and Saturday night, weather permitting.

Backyard Crab Boil

Join us for a classic Bay crab feast. Available every Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-8pm.

Check out the menu and email events@hillprince.com to reserve your spot. Available for groups of 8 or more.
